What a great surprise this place was! We were downtown without reservations and Nola Jane's didn't have a long wait. While it doesn't look like much the food was amazing and the service equally so. We started with the jalapeño hushpuppies with creole ranch. I had the shrimp and grits which is usually my go-to favorite. Theirs did not disappoint. The creamy grits with cheddar cheese and andouille sausage topped with perfectly cooked shrimp was sumptuous. I wanted to try their bananas foster bread pudding but was too full. So I will be going back again soon!

This place was recommended for us to try on a busy Friday night when it was getting late and we were starving and everything was still busy. So glad we ended up here! The macaroni and cheese (with the bbq shrimp, of course) was super peppery and delicious! The cocktails were great. Service was a little slow because of a bunch of ghost tours coming through, but we were still well taken care of and had a great time. Hammer makes the best Old Fashioned!!

The shrimp Mac n cheese is super duper special. I was starving from work tonight and this place didn't disappoint. Kitchen is open til 1:30am. I went with the shrimp poboy as my main course and the portion was beyond my expectations. Kyle the bartender was on his A game! He was prompt and made a solid recommendation on what to order. When I'm back in Denver, I'm definitely making sure I hit this place up again.

My wife and I loved Nola Jane! We ate there at the beginning of summer and I've been meaning to write this review ever since. The food, cocktails, and service were all great. We especially enjoyed the bbq shrimp mac-and-cheese, the gumbo, and the hurricane. Their rooftop would be a great place to host an event as well.

The service was great on the second floor by our bartender/server Sam. The blackened catfish and oyster PO boy that we ordered was delicious. The restaurant-was busy but Sam was able to keep up with the need of the customers. Will definitely come back!
